Hope House in Mauritius

As surfers, we at Brunotti Surfcamps like to make a difference by supporting a charity. We love nothing more than organizing fun surf vacations for Dutch youngsters, but it’s even more fun if we can support young people who have been less fortunate in life. As surfers we want to help other surfers. That is why we are proud to announce that starting in 2025 we will be supporting Hope House in Mauritius, a special project aimed at supporting vulnerable children and young people in the region.

Hope House, initiated by Groundswell Aid, provides a safe haven for young people facing difficult circumstances. The goal of Hope House is to provide them with not only shelter and care, but also the necessary resources for personal development and a positive future. This is done through education, mentoring and empowerment so that the youth are able to pursue their dreams despite the challenges they face.

Surfing always has a great effect on people’s self-confidence and mental health, and we believe Hope House’s support is an important part of the broader impact we want to make. We believe that by partnering with Hope House, we are not only helping local young people discover their potential, but also doing our bit for the sustainable development of the region.

Every guest who comes on vacation with us indirectly helps support Hope House. Part of the proceeds from our Surfcamp go directly to this fantastic project. This means that your vacation is not only an adventure for you, but also an opportunity to improve the lives of young people in Mauritius.
